Die folgenden Informationen wurden vom ICMI Secretary General versandt und sind sicherlich für viele GDM-Mitglieder auch sehr interessant:

Dear ICMI Country Representatives and Affiliate Organizations Officers, (cc ICMI EC)

As you have seen our last Newsletter has been published today https://www.mathunion.org/icmi/icmi-newsletter-september-2026

Thanks to all of you who sent us some item, it is so great to see the result!

I want to point out 2 important items for which I ask you to do some publicity through your local networks.

1) The new project on ICMI Online Seminar Series for Capacity Building: Strengthening mathematics teacher education  (item 3 in the newsletter) https://www.mathunion.org/icmi/projects/icmi-capacity-building-seminars

2) The second ICMI AMOR Webinar, for which we have now a new date on October 28, 2026 (Item 4 in the newsletter) https://www.mathunion.org/icmi/projects/icmi-amor

I also take this opportunity to ask for the countries for which it still does not exist to create the page about the description of the context of Math Education https://www.mathunion.org/icmi/around-icmi/country-context. If you need some support to do so, please write to me.

With my best wishes,

Jean-Luc
