Our Project on Data Science and Big Data (ProDaBi) at Paderborn University invites you to a new round of the Paderborn Colloquium on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Education at the School Level.
It will consist of the following sessions:

• Reading and Writing the World with Data - Travis Weiland (USA)
Session #13: Wednesday, January 24th, 2024, 4.00 p.m. (CET, UTC+1) - 6.30 p.m. (CET, UTC+1)
• Evaluating media claims about sustainability through the use of large data sets - Vince Geiger (Australia)
• A learner-centered approach to teaching computational modeling, data analysis, and programming - Devin W. Silvia (USA)

Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the FAME conference, an ERME Topic Conference on Feedback & Assessment in Mathematics Education. The conference will take place on June 5–7, 2024 in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Our first announcement is now available.
The following main themes will be addressed:
Theme 1: Formative feedback on mathematics tasks and its impact on students’ experiences of learning mathematics: students’ and teachers’ perspectives
Theme 2: Resources for the (formative or summative) assessment of mathematics and design of tasks for assessing specific mathematics topics
Theme 3: Teachers’ and students’ experiences with technology in/for the (summative and/or formative) assessment of mathematics.
Some early dates to consider:
December 5, 2023: Online pre-event for Young Researchers
January 12, 2024: Deadline for paper and poster submissions
